Readers of The Palm Beach Post know: We are one community, bonded by our love for Palm Beach County and our concern for each other. When our neighbors need help, we come together to share what we have.
Season to Share was born out of that dedication to the community.
Since The Palm Beach Post started the holiday campaign to help our neediest neighbors in 1995, readers have donated more than $13 million.
This money has paid the rent for families dealing with medical bills. It has purchased cars, computers and furniture -- and helped needy families send children to college. It has helped mothers feed their sick babies and put presents under the tree.
This year, The Post is partnering with the Community Foundation for Palm Beach and Martin Counties to share the stories of families who need our help.
These families, nominated by area nonprofit agencies, will be spotlighted in The Post's annual Season to Share section on Nov. 25, online at seasontoshare.org and also through the Community Foundations website at yourcommunityfoundation.org.
