The Legacy Society honors individuals and families who have made a lasting commitment to our community by making provisions in their estate plans to provide a legacy gift to the Community Foundation.
Leaving a legacy can include bequests, retirement assets, charitable gift annuities, charitable remainder trust, gifts of life insurance, or any other type of charitable planned gift.
You can establish a Designated Fund that benefits a specific nonprofit or a Field of Interest Fund that supports an area of interest or a Legacy Fund that documents how your assets should be distributed in perpetuity after your lifetime.
We also recognize those who at their passing leave their fund balance to the Community Foundation for our community based grantmaking.
Being a member of the Legacy Society gives you the opportunity to belong to a select group of like-minded people who are committed to support the needs of our communities.
We offer many types of planned giving options and are ready to discuss which is right for you.
If you would like to learn more or join the Legacy Society, please call Kati Erickson, Donor Relations Officer at 561-340-4508 or email her at firstname.lastname@example.org.
