The Community Foundation for Palm Beach and Martin Counties has hired January Romero Reissman as Vice President for Community Impact.
“We have made a concerted effort to enhance our impact at the Community Foundation, and we are confident that January will help steward that mission,” said Bradley Hurlburt, President and CEO of the Community Foundation for Palm Beach and Martin Counties.
In her new role, Reissman will provide strategic leadership related to the Foundation’s grantmaking, community leadership and collaboration efforts. She will be responsible for identifying issues and opportunities and developing strategies to address community needs as well as collaborating with community partners to design, implement and manage community impact efforts. Reissman also will support the development team to provide donors with nonprofit information relative to their interests, share grantmaking opportunities and provide insight on community needs.
Prior to joining the Community Foundation, Reissman served as the Executive Director of Philanthropy Tank, an organization that empowers and funds teen social entrepreneurs. She previously oversaw the Education and Youth Development department at Fairfield County’s Community Foundation in Connecticut.
