Since 1991, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Martin County has strived to fulfill its mission of enabling all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens.
We partner with parents, schools, and a network of over 100 volunteers and 40 community stakeholders to implement our award-winning programs. Fees are just $35 per member for the school year and teens attend for free. Full scholarships are available to families demonstrating financial need.
Inside our Clubs, we provide kids ages 6 to 18 with a world-class Club Experience that assures success is within reach of every young person who walks through our doors by providing: a safe, positive environment, fun and a sense of belonging, supportive relationships, opportunities and expectations, and recognition. Research shows that together, our programs and Club experience transform lives. Club programs encompass our three outcome areas for positive youth development: Academic Success, Good Character & Citizenship, and Healthy Lifestyles.
Youth development professionals and certified teachers facilitate all programs. They are trained to administer positive behavior supports and mentoring while ensuring that our Club members are emotionally and physically safe at all times. Our Clubs also maintain a vehicle fleet, providing transportation from school to our Clubs, and allowing our members to take fun, educational field trips and college tours throughout the school year.
