Community Foundation for Palm Beach and Martin Counties launches CEO search with Spencer Stuart

WEST PALM BEACH, FL - The Community Foundation for Palm Beach and Martin Counties announces it has retained executive search firm Spencer Stuart as the Foundation formally opens a national search for the successor to retiring President and CEO Brad Hurlburt. The firm will work in partnership with the Board’s Search Committee, led by the Foundation's Board member and former Chair, Sherry Barrat.

"The board is committed to finding a thought leader who will advance the Foundation’s mission of bringing donors and nonprofits together to focus on improving the quality of life in our communities. Our new CEO will continue to inspire the Foundation’s culture of collaboration, inclusivity, and innovation in addressing some of our communities’ most critical issues," said Barrat.

After seven years of compassionate leadership, Brad Hurlburt announced his retirement to the Board of Directors at their May 13 board meeting. Hurlburt will continue in his position through June of 2021 to ensure a smooth transition for his successor.

City's racial and ethnic equality task force members revealed

West Palm Beach Mayor Keith James revealed the names of those who will be a part of the city's new Racial and Ethnic Equality Task Force. The Community Foundation for Palm Beach and Martin Counties is humbled and honored CEO Brad Hurlburt and Board Chair Julie Fisher Cummings have been named task force members.
