The Funding Resource Center is a Cooperating Collection of the Foundation Center, Inc., a nationwide network of libraries, community foundations and other nonprofit agencies. If you are interested in exploring potential funding sources for your organization, you may want to attend a library orientation.
 The Community Foundation for Palm Beach and Martin Counties' Program Officer Daryl Houston facilitates the Resource Center Library Orientations.
Library orientations will be held the third Thursday of every month. Orientation begins at 10:00 am and ends at 12:00 pm. Orientations are held at the Community Foundation for Palm Beach and Martin Counties, located at 700 South Dixie Highway in West Palm Beach (please click here for directions).
If you are interested in attending, please call 561-659-6800 to register for an orientation. Space is limited. Registration is strongly recommended since walk-ins can not be assured of seating. (dates may be subject to change) |

Our Resource Library serves the nonprofit sector. It provides visitors with free public access to the Foundation Center's core collection, plus our own collection of titles that include grantmaker directories, books, periodicals and videos on fundraising, board development, executive leadership, marketing and communications and nonprofit management.
Visitors have free access to the Foundation Center's electronic databases, The Foundation Directory Online Professional, available on two computer terminals. This fully searchable database includes detailed profiles of all active U.S. foundations, as well as an extensive file of recent grants awarded by the nation's top funders.
We also have Foundation Grants to Individuals Online, where you can research more than 6,200 foundation and public charity programs that fund artists, students, researchers, and other individual grantseekers.
The Foundation Directory Online and Foundation Grants to Individuals Online are available to visitors on an appointment only basis. To guarantee access to either database when you arrive, visitors can schedule and reserve time-slot by calling 561-659-6800 or emailing prowan@cfpbmc.org
Anyone is free to use the materials during our regular business hours. (by appointment only)
Unfortunately, not at this time. This is a non-lending library. You can, however, make a limited number of photocopies of selected materials for 10ยข a page.
The Foundation offers free, short-term, advisement by phone or by appointment to board and staff members of local nonprofit organizations and community groups. Email your question to prowan@cfpbmc.org or call 561 659 6800.
