The Community Foundation for Palm Beach and Martin Counties, headquartered in West Palm Beach, recently announced the opening of an office in Boca Raton. The additional office will allow the Community Foundation to provide greater service and connection to the people of southern Palm Beach county, as well as to area donors and their advisors.

“We are fully committed in helping the people of south county through providing both simple and complex, personal and powerful charitable solutions,” said Chairman William M. Matthews, at a recent reception for professional advisors hosted by Northern Trust in Boca Raton.

Community Foundations serve the need of local communities through connecting donors, nonprofits, community leaders and others who work to strengthen the region through philanthropy. Since 1972, the Community Foundation for Palm Beach and Martin Counties has awarded more than $81 million in grants and scholarships. Donors can establish a fund to support issues they care about or specific places, such as Boca Raton.

“We are facilitators for donors who want to make a difference, right in their own communities,” stated Matthews.

“The Community Foundation has always been a great resource for charitably-minded clients,” Jeff Baskies, Co-Chair of the South County Professional Advisors Network. “Through the establishment of the South County office we are looking forward to even more philanthropic developments in our community.”

“Now that the Community Foundation has an office in South County, it will be easier for both our clients and the local Advisor Associations we work with to provide high quality estate and tax education,” said Don Tescher, also Co-Chair of the network.

Members of the South County Professional Advisors Network promote philanthropy in south Palm Beach county and help clients achieve their philanthropic goals.

The new location will be at the office of Tescher & Spallina, P.A., who generously donated the space. The office is located in Boca Village Corporate Center I, 4855 Technology Way, Suite 720 in Boca Raton.
