Cameron & Vukusich Earn Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy (CAP®) Designation

WEST PALM BEACH, FL (March 5, 2013) -- Danielle Blangy Cameron, Vice President for Personal and Family Philanthropy, and Jillian C. Vukusich, Director of Community Investment, from the Community Foundation for Palm Beach and Martin Counties have earned the Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy (CAP®) professional designation from the Richard D. Irwin Graduate School of The American College, Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania. The CAP® program provides professionals that work in the development and implementation of philanthropic programs with the knowledge and tools needed to help clients reach their charitable objectives, while also helping them meet their estate planning and wealth management goals.

Candidates for the CAP® designation must complete a minimum of three courses in philanthropic studies at the Irwin Graduate School and six hours of supervised written examinations. Over 800 individuals have received the CAP® designation since its inception in 2003.

As Vice President for Personal and Family Philanthropy, Danielle is responsible for developing and managing the Foundation’s donor services program and its relationships with donors, advisors and fund holders.  She works closely with donors to help them outline and achieve their charitable goals by providing guidance and options for charitable giving.  Danielle celebrated her 25th anniversary with the Foundation in November 2012.    

As Director of Community Investment, Jillian provides leadership in the design and implementation of the Foundation’s grant making activities and works closely with the donor services staff to align and cultivate interest among donors with opportunities for giving.  Jillian is an alumnus of the Hull Fellows Program through the Southeastern Council of Foundations and is a current member of the Council on Foundation’s Next Generation Task Force. Jillian holds a Master of Arts in Arts Management from American University in Washington, D.C. and a Bachelor of Science in Dance Education from the University of South Florida in Tampa, Florida.
