For 40 years, the Community Foundation for Palm Beach and Martin Counties has joined other foundations, nonprofit organizations, and community leaders to address the needs of the community. Together with our donors, the Foundation has invested over $94 million in Palm Beach and Martin Counties since 1972 and has awarded grants and led initiatives that address food security, affordable housing, the environment and education. We are the trusted steward of 280 funds created by area families, philanthropists, corporations and private foundations for charitable investment in our region’s communities. Last year, we awarded over $8.2 million in grants, including $1 million in scholarships. As one of Florida's largest community foundations, the Community Foundation has total assets of more than $140 million.
